Questions

Is Xarchive free to use?
Yes. Searching Twitter/X, Reddit, and Instagram Wayback Machine captures, previewing snapshots, and exporting up to 50 records per file are free and need no account. Paid tiers are for people who export in bulk or work with archives every week.
Do I need an account?
No. Xarchive has no sign-up. The one-time export unlock is a single payment with no account attached, and the audience for this tool has good reasons to avoid registration walls.
Where does the data come from?
Every record comes from the Internet Archive's public Wayback Machine CDX index. Xarchive does not host archived content and does not add anything the Internet Archive has not already captured publicly.
What happens if an export fails?
Exports are built from results already loaded in your browser, so they do not depend on the Internet Archive being reachable at the moment you export. If a paid export ever fails, it is refunded in full.
